Old Navy’s New Kid-Created Collection Helps Boys & Girls Clubs

Ahead of back to school season, Old Navy just launched a kid-designed collection for the first time ever—and it’s as cute as it sounds. Old Navy teamed up with the Boys and Girls Club to create the collection, and the retailer will donate $50,000 to Boys & Girls to celebrate the big unveiling.

What can you expect from the sweet line? Tees with inspiring drawings that were designed by 8 to 12-year-old Boys and Girls Club members. Each graphic has empowering messages from the heart, right across the front of the t-shirt. Your little one can sport one on their first day of school and feel confident walking into class.

“The back-to-school season represents a time of new beginnings and fresh starts,” said Sarah Holme, Executive Vice President of Design, Old Navy. “At Old Navy, we believe that people give style power, so we worked closely with kids from Boys and Girls Clubs to develop empowering designs that will help kids feel and look their best as they start the new school year. The designs that these kids created represent the hopes and dreams of the next generation, and we’re so inspired by the future they want to create.”

Plus, between August 1 and 14, Old Navy will match customer donations up to $300,000 total, in hopes of raising $1 million for Boys & Girls Clubs.
